Boy Approached By A Women In A VW Golf Car In Sale

A 11-year-old boy was approached by a female in a black VW Golf car on Shrewsbury Road in Brooklands at around 8am on Nov 1.

The women drove up alongside the boy and asked him “Hop in and I will give you a lift” the boy refused and at that point the female made off towards Woodbourne Road.

Description of the female is white, ginger/red hair, medium height so possibly around 5ft 5ins, and of thin build, aged between 35 and 45-years-old.

Police are asking parents to tell their kids on the way to school about the dangers of talking to strangers and never to walk alone.
