News4trafford represented every resident ‘that cares about the environment’ last night Nov 16 when ITV News used our fly tipping pictures live.

Correspondent Chris Choi repeated what we told him about the 20 day wait for any one to come and pick up rubbish, and the grot spots in the area.
It was a super result for us but the battle must continue, the debate continues as to why their has been a big increase in fly tipping, from Amey to work men, we can say for sure it is a number of things.
Bin collections going to two weeks, Amey taking forever to shift rubbish and money.
It costs a fair bit to dump workmen waist, what is needed is some help from the council to help independent workmen dump their waist at a reduced cost, or offer some incentives.
Fly tipping can also be blamed on some people just being lazy, or residents from other areas dumping the waist, these are good points.
We have to tackle this issue in Trafford as soon as possible and we want to see the main political partys in Trafford get together and get this and the huge pollution problems sorted out, not left festering under a matt where all the other problems are left.
