A teenage girl was subjected to a prolonged sexual assault in Eccles Salford.

The 17-year-old girl was at Eccles Bus Exchange on Nov 13 between 9.20 and 9.50pm when she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her.

He then followed the victim as she got onto the 67 bus towards Irlam/Cadishead where he continued to sexually assault her before he got of the bus at Patricroft Bridge.

The offender is described as Asian, in his early 30’s with watts or black lumps on his face, black short hair and spoken in broken English, he was wearing a black jacket and beige chinos, he also had with him a carrier bag and umbrella.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the sexual assault to get in contact.

Police Constable Darren White og GMP’s Salford Borough said: “I’m appealing to anyone who recognises the events above or may have information that could help us with our investigation.

“It was a busy weekend in the area with plenty of people around so if anyone has any information no matter how small, please get in touch.”
