An elderly woman aged 80 was assaulted and then robbed near to Sale Point on Washaway Road in Sale tonight Nov 26 at around 7pm.
The offender has been described as a white male, aged around 50-years-old, stocky build and was wearing dark clothing, he spoke with a local accent and was carrying a white coloured carrier bag
Police are saying it is possible that he could still be in the area and any sightings of him you must contact police as soon as you can on 101.
