National Crime Agency (NCA) arrested a 41-year-old male in the Altrincham are on Dec 1.

It is not known yet of who the male is as NCA and GMP will not release his identity at this time.

An NCA spokesman said: “On Thursday 1 December National Crime Agency officers arrested a 41-year-old male in the Altrincham area in relation to child abuse image offences.

“As enquiries are ongoing we are unable to comment further.”

The male has now been bailed pending futher enquires.
