Strong Paint Thinner Chemical Found In Lidl ‘Kania’ Gravy Granules

Lidl has today recalled all packets of ‘Kania’ gravy granules after finding a chemical called ‘xylene’ which is a stronger type of thinner and is banned in some states in the US.

If someone is exposed too this chemical the result is vomiting, headaches and dizziness.

It is important to note that both the meat and chicken gravy granules with best before end October 2017 and November 17 are affected in this recall and all other batches are fine.
