Death Of A Man In Urmston Is No Longer Being Treated As Suspicious

Police are no longer investigating the death of a man who was found in a property in Urmston.


Emergency services were called at around 6.40pm on December 22 to a property on Manor Avenue in Urmston and discovered the body of a man.

Police launched an investigation but a Home Office post-mortem examination concluded there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

A 62-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.

Detective Sergeant Rachel Smith of GMP’s Trafford Borough said: “I’d like to thank the public for their help as we have concluded our enquiries.

“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family as they come to terms with their loss.”
