Liz Smith Who Played Nana In The TV Programme The Royal Family Has Died

Liz Smith who played nana in the Royal Family has died today December 26 aged 95.

The actress who’s real name is Betty Gleadle had a long and successful career, playing in many TV shows and films, and picked up an MBE from Prince Charles in 2009.

Liz Smith as she is known on stage and screen was born in 1921 in Scunthorpe, she also has two children.
