Two males have knocked on an address in Timperley today Jan 10 claiming to be from the RSPCA, the elderly female who lives at the property felt something was suspicious.
The males asked if she had any dogs at the property.
GMP have contacted the RSPCA to ask if they have any staff in the area doing door to door and they said they have no one doing any work in that area.
Description of the two males:
White male, wearing blue coat with RSPCA in large writing across the front of his jacket, and the second male was black and had the same type of coat on.
Police are saying for people to speak to your elderly neighbours and to make them aware of what is going on, and to remain vigilant.
