A Loud Mysterious Bang Was Heard Over Manchester Last Night

A loud bang was heard over many parts of Trafford and Salford last night that nobody can explain what it was or where it came from.

Reports of the bang started coming through on social media, some claiming it was a gas explosion in Salford, whilst others just did not have a clue.

Emergency services even had no idea what that bang was, and no incident occurred, so what could it have been?

We have a possible answer and that it could have been an aircraft back firing, it does happen and as it was late on at night, sound travels much further, and indeed an aircraft was flying over at the time of the bang, a Cargolux 747.
