Police investigating shots fired in Old Trafford have arrested a 25-year-old man.

Police were called shortly before midnight on February 1st to reports of a group of men fighting at a social club on Alphonsus Street, Old Trafford.
On arrival, it was established that a firearm had been discharged and a number of bullets were recovered from the scene, no one was injured.
Following extensive enquiries, officers have since arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Detective Inspector Carl Gilbert, from GMP’s Trafford borough, said: “A 25-year-old man is in custody in connection with this investigation and is currently being questioned.
“A firearm has also been recovered.
