1000 Jobs At Risk As Burger King Calls In Administrators

Whilst none of the 36 stores listed are in Manchester, we are not sure what will happen to the five stores dotted around the city.

Burger King is operated by two companies Millcliffe Ltd and CPL foods Ltd with a business advisory firm helping secure a buyer for the company.

As Burger King is a big name, it is likely a buyer will be found to take over the outlets, and save many if not all of the jobs that could be lost.

Burger King had a food outlet in Altrincham, but was forced to shut down due to cash problems and other operational reasons, Pizza Hut took over sometime later.
