Elderly Woman Robbed At Navigation Road Metrolink Station

An elderly woman was robbed of her purse as she got of a tram at Navigation Road in Altrincham on May 2 at around 1pm.

She was helped off the tram by another woman said to be in her 50’s who saw her struggling, it was then this woman saw a purse and decided to take full advantage of her vulnerability and robbed it from her handbag.

Police caught the woman after being spotted nearby and was arrested, she has been released pending further investigations.
