It is claimed 79 people died in the Grenfell tower block in the early hours of June 14, where a devastating fire broke out on the fourth floor.

It is now believed that a faulty fridge freezer is to blame and started the fire, Hotpoint have now issued a product notice warning, not a recall!
If you have models FF175BP in white or FF175BG in graphite you need to click this LINK this will also give you information on where to find the product numbers.
We are aware due to this fire that all Trafford tower blocks have been checked and all deemed as safe at this time, however THT (Trafford Housing Trust) has said that they have no sprinklers at any of their tower blocks, and no fire alarms.
The cladding used at Grenfell tower block was the type that helped carry the fire into all of the apartments, Camden council took steps to evacuate a tower block overnight on June 24 because of the cladding and poor fire safety issues.

Trafford tower blocks as we have said are deemed as safe at this time and we do not expect a knee jerk reaction with people having to be evacuated, if you have concerns though you must contact THT or your housing association who will advise you further, talk to neighbours maybe get a group going of everyone in the block of flats, not to protest but to make sure everyone is alright more so in the middle and top sections.
