Home Alone actor John Heard has passed away aged 72

Actor John Heard who played Peter McCallister in the Home Alone films has died aged 72.

His filmography shows starred in films going far back as 1977 right up to this year, the list of which is extensive, films he starred in other than the Home Alone series was White Chicks, The Pelican Brief and many others.

He also starred on the small screen from 1975 appearing in many TV movies, he starred alongside Edward Woodward in an episode of the Equalizer, and Miami Vice, John also appeared in three episodes of NCIS Los Angeles.

John Heard married Margot Kidder in 1979, he also has a son with a previous partner, his personal life went down hill when he was apparently arrested in 1991 charged with third-degree assault after it is claimed he slapped an ex-girlfriend, charges were dropped, he also has two former wives.

John was believed to have been found dead at a hotel in California, he recently underwent back surgery.
