A male pensioner was robbed in his own home in Brooklands in Sale.

The robbery took place at around 3pm on Sept 6 on Ashbourne Crescent.

A male entered his home and stole the elderly male’s pension.

Police have said: “Don’t answer your door or let anyone into your home who you don’t know, be vigilant when you are walking around and look out for your neighbours.”

We have not been provided with any more information and no description of the robber was given.
