The new polymer (plastic) £10 note has gone into circulation today September 14 and will replace the paper £10 note.
If you have the paper £10 notes don’t panic, you can still use them as normal until spring next year.
We have already got used to the plastic bank-note, as we saw the removal of the paper £5 note in May.
The UK will also see the removal of the old £1 coin next month.
In 2020 we will see a new £20 plastic note in circulation, more information on the changes can be seen HERE
