Harry Dean Stanton died on Sept 15 at Ceders-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles California aged 91.

The actor made many movies in his time, including ‘Pretty in pink’ alongside Molly Ringwald, he was the security guard in the avengers and starred alongside a very young Emilio Estevez in the classic film ‘Repo Man’.

Stanton was born in Texas USA he has two younger brothers, his family background was very musical, he also studied journalism and could have easily been a writer, as he had a musical background he also starred in three music videos.

He will be best remembered for his film and small screen career which spanned from 1954 till present times with a film he made called ‘Lucky’ he also managed to complete 6 series of Twin Peaks this year before his death.

Harry never married despite having several relationships.
