Police release CCTV image of a male they want to speak to in connection with an attempted murder in a Timperley park

Police have released an image after attempted murder in Timperley.

Shortly before 6pm on Aug 21st, police were called to reports of an assault at Pickering Lodge on Moss Lane.

Officers attended and found a 16-year-old with stab wounds to his chest.

The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Police have now released an image of a person they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Clare Robinson of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: “As part of our investigation to establish how this situation unfolded, we have released an image.

“If you recognise the person in the image, or the clothing that he’s wearing, I’d ask for you to get in touch and help us identify who he is, to aid our investigations.

“We’d also ask for anyone who heard the disturbance and saw something that could help with our enquiries, to please get in touch.”
