Food hygiene ratings of a Partington takeaway go through the roof

We are used to reporting on takeaways either at rock bottom or going down the drain with regards to the food hygiene ratings scheme, so it makes a change and a worthy one that we can reveal that the Village Green chippy on Hall Lane in Partington has been given a higher rating by Trafford Council.

The chippy which is close to Lock Lane and Manchester Road in Partington had a level 2 for a few years, and has now been given a 4 rating which is just 1 notch away from the best marking environmental health inspectors from Trafford Council can give an establishment.

Locals call this chippy “The green chippy” offers a wide range of tasty food, they have very helpful and friendly staff.

The ratings scheme goes from 0 which is the worst rating any takeaway can be given to a 5 which is the best.
