It is that time of year again, when the clocks go back one hour, meaning the nights really draw in and the mornings will be darker for longer, the trade off is that we get an hour extra sleep each night.

Their has been much debate about keeping to British summertime hours all year around, it is thought that due to the earlier darkness and longer dark periods during the morning, people are more likely to be involved in an accident on the roads.

More criminal activity will also be a problem until mid December when the nights start to get longer by a minute a day.

The change happens at 2am on Oct 29.
