Longford Park in Stretford has long been one of the best parks in the borough, it has many events through the year, and hosts one of the biggest athletic clubs in the UK, sadly it also suffers from criminality.

In October there was four robberies occurred in the park which included two of the evening, most of the attacks have been on the path behind the athletic club.

Police are warning the public to stay on lit up pathways, and to be extra vigilant during the evening, they have also said that there will be more patrols.
