An air ambulance was despatched after a pupil at Springfield Primary School in sale became ill, people on social media have been saying that the helicopter landed on the roof of Tesco near School Road.

A paramedic was seen running towards the school with other emergency services on hand to help make sure the little girl was treated as fast as possible for an allergy.

We can confirm the girl is now doing well and is recovering at home.
