The third named storm of 2017 called Caroline will hit the UK from Wednesday evening and through Thursday, it will bring with it high gusts of wind to all parts.
The storm will head for Scotland, in a North Easterly direction, the wind will gust to over 50mph in parts, and the further north you are the more it gets stronger, so some parts could even get to 70mph.
Rain will fall just about everywhere on Thursday and localised flooding is a possibility, with the wind being so strong, it could affect power and transport routes.
From Friday the cold makes a return and although more settled, snow showers could fall on Sunday.
