Little girl who was fighting for her life after a house fire in Walkden has died

 

The 3-year-old girl believed to be Lia Pearson who was fighting for her life after a house fire in Walkden has sadly died.

Shortly before 5am on December 11, emergency services were called to Jackson Street in Walkden to reports of a house fire.

The little girl was admitted to hospital with her mother who is still in hospital fighting for her life is believed to be Lia Pearson.

Her brothers and sisters Demi Pearson aged 15, Brandon Pearson aged 8 and Lacie Pearson aged 7 also sadly died in the fire.

Two other boys aged 16 escaped from the house uninjured.

Police have charged two people today, Zac Bolland aged 23 and Courtney Brierley aged 22 both from Worsley.
