Northern Rail three-day strike hits passengers in Trafford

A three-day rail strike is to go ahead on the 8th, 10th and 12th January which will hit Northern Rail services in Trafford.

Stations at Navigation Road, Altrincham and all on the Urmston line will be affected.

Trains will still be running on these days although reduced, Northern Rail say that 1,350 services will be running on all three days from 7am.

For the most part many passengers will have to travel via a bus service, Northern Rail are telling passengers to turn up early on the strike dates as it will be much busier than normal, and plan carefully and consider if travel is necessary.
