Carrot cake packed in chocolate cake boxes by error sees a nationwide Tesco recall

Tesco has recalled its own branded ‘Finest’ chocolate cake due to a manufacturing error where a small number of its own branded ‘Finest’ carrot cake which contains walnuts was packaged into the wrong boxes, because the carrot cake contains walnuts, it is a risk for those with a nut allergy.

As a precautionary measure Tesco are recalling the batch from customers, no other Tesco Finest products are known to be affected.

The chocolate boxes has a best before date of 17 Jan 2018 and Batch Code is: D32/18003
