Partington Social Club is in a bad way after it was destroyed by fire

An arsonist hit the club on Warburton Lane in Partington during the early hours of Jan 9th and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage inside and outside.

The fear is by locals that since the club had already been refurbished, it may never be re-opened, the damage is extensive, the front door boarded up, debris can be seen at the side of the building behind gates.

Nobody was hurt in the fire and police are investigating who was responsible and causing so much damage, not only to the pub, but to the area, since it lacks badly of entertainment infrastructure, the loss of this club will be felt by the entire village.
