A man has been charged after two police officers were assaulted in the Chorlton area.
At around 10.30am on Thursday 22 February 2018, police were following a vehicle that failed to stop for officers on Hardcastle Avenue in Chorlton.

Once it came to a stop on Shackley Close, two officers were assaulted.

Kevin Brown aged  45 from Bolton has been charged with the following offences:

  • Section 18 assault
  • Section 39 assault
  • Dangerous driving
  • Driving without a licence
  • Driving with no insurance

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester City Magistrates Court today Feb 24.
