Police seen in Walton Park in Sale looking for two males this afternoon

Two police vehicles entered Walton Park at just before 2pm today March 16th and went directly to the back of the sports centre.

Following on, two officers were seen talking to each other on the canal tow path, having gone past them both shortly after, it was asked “what was going on” to which the officer replied “We are looking for two males who legged it after a burglary” it was then asked where and the same officer said “Walton Road”

The officers were then joined by a third officer but all left a short time later as the offenders had long gone.

If this was a burglary, it seems Walton Road is a hotspot and residents must take extra steps to secure their property.
