Man with a gun roaming around Partington scrambles a big police presence

Shortly before 10.40pm on Monday 26 March, police were called to reports of a man with a firearm on Oak Road in Partington.

We are told by eye witnesses that police were everywhere that night and the force helicopter was also out offering support.

Officers attended and found a man had been carrying a firearm on Tulip Road and Laurel Road, before fleeing from the scene.

Enquiries into the full circumstances around this incident are ongoing.
