Dale Winton host of Supermarket Sweep and other shows including the National Lottery has died aged 62.
It is not known at this time how he died although we know he passed away at his home.
Dale Jonathon Winton was born on May 22nd 1955 his father was Jewish and his mother who was an actress converted to Judaism, his father died and was then brought up by his mother.
His early career was in radio until he hit the silver screen in 1987 and from 1993 to 2000 Winton hosted Supermarket Sweep for which he will be known for, he also starred on the big screen with a stint in Trainspotting.
He then hosted the National Lottery shows with a game show called ‘In it to win it’ Winton also hosted a few music award shows in his time, he even appeared in ‘This is your life’ with Michael Aspel in 2000.
Dale also released an autobiography in 2002.
