Police in Partington responded on Saturday after reports of youths causing further trouble in certain parts of the village, with a bigger presence in the area and on foot, officers spoke with many of the kids about their actions and the impact their bad behaviour has on local residents and businesses.
Officers went to meet the parents of the kids and advised them that due to the actions of their child it could put their property at risk as this could be breaching the tenancy agreement with the local housing provider.

Some officers was roaming around in an unmarked vehicle and stopped a suspect car after attention was drawn to concerns over possible drug dealing, the occupants made off on foot, the vehicle was seized and officers suspicions were proved accurate as drugs and other paraphernalia was found, enquiries are underway.
