Police are appealing for information after three masked men robbed a Co-op in Whalley Range.
Shortly before 6.45pm on April 25, police were called to reports of the robbery on Withington Road.
Three men who had their faces covered entered the shop carrying a machete and a screwdriver.
One of the masked men stayed by the door keeping watch, while the other two threatened staff and stole cash, cigarettes, scratch cards and alcohol.
All three men then made off towards College Road in a blue car.
Enquiries into the circumstances around this incident are ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Mark Astbury of GMP’s City of Manchester Division said: “The fact these three men used weapons to steal money from innocent people is unacceptable.
“Our investigation continues and we are working to establish who these three men are, but we need your help to do this.
“If you have any information about what happened last night, or saw something that could help our enquiries, please get in touch with police.”
