Trafford Council gave permission to residents to cut down the trees and branches in Walton Park

We spoke with Trafford Council and the workmen in Walton Park in Sale this afternoon, and firstly we appreciate the workers help with this situation.

The trees as we have said in a previous article were chopped down along with a pile of bushes and branches because of residents on Marford Cresent were complaining about the shade! this is what we have been told.

As the damage has been done now, to us the park looks out of shape and that huge gap could be good for a red bull flying plane.

We found out also that 8 trees are to be felled in the next couple of weeks in the park and Trafford are fully aware of the issues at Walton Park Sports Centre and the tiny road that is often used as a drag strip.

Trafford are also going to be planting some new trees during Autumn.
