A new Lidl store could be operational soon if they get the green light from Trafford planning this week.

The store will be gigantic with approximately 1,363 squared metres of space, the location is where their once used to be a school called ‘Greatstone’ this was sadly destroyed and sometime after a PC World store was built on Chester Road in Stretford.

Parking at the store is good and gladly they have also thought about people on cycles with a safe lock up being provided.

Lidl has many stores up and down the country and is offers great value and quality products.

Nick Harvey Lidl UK’s regional head of property, commented: “We are excited by the prospect of opening a new store in Stretford, and our first within the Trafford Council area, which will mark a multi-million pound investment in the local economy and the creation of new jobs when the store opens.

“We are pleases with the officer;s recommendation to approve the proposals and would like to thank everyone for their continued support, the decision now rests with the members of the planning committee.”
