Electricity NW were out doing powerline surveys in the helicopter very low over Broadheath

Residents contacted us concerned about a very low flying helicopter over Waitrose this afternoon, so we investigated.

We saw the helicopter which was flying at around 100ft and it did indeed circle Waitrose and further west which would have been the tip.

Further investigating where the helicopter was from and what model it was we found out that it came from Cheshire Helicopters with the code G-CMRA.

One resident we spoke with told us it could have been the opening of the new Bramley Farm, however it was not focused on this area.

It is no longer a mystery, it was Electricity NW doing power line surveys, thanks to Matt for sending us the information and a great photo which you can see below.
