Big outage with Facebook, Instagram and Whats App around the world tonight

Users of Facebook, Instagram and Whats app are experiencing difficulties tonight as all three social media platforms are down.

Am explanation as to why Facebook is down comes up once someone tries to login, saying Facebook is down for maintenance.

Some users are still able to access Instagram

With this being a world wide outage rather than just a local issue could mean something more has happened.

It is hoped all will return to normal shortly.
