One of the biggest crowds we have ever seen turned up to watch and pay respects to all those that died for each and every one of us in wars around the world past and present.
The brilliant organisation of this event was for all to see, as brass bands and soldiers marched towards the war memorial outside of Sale Town Hall.
It went completely silent as everyone paid their respects to the fallen, and to all those fighting for us today, to keep this country safe despite the government who are only interested in slashing our armed services.
Many political people and leaders attended as normal standing towards the war memorial.
What an incredible day for all, we enjoyed it despite the cramped conditions, and the thousand or so people looking on came away happy and thoughtful of how lucky they are to have had such and still have an amazing military.
