Highways England have given housing developers who want to build on Heath Farm Lane and Broadway in Partington until the end of January 2019 to come up with solutions and answers.
If they cannot resolve the issues with Highways England the entire project falls on its backside and Partington can breathe again.
Having seen opinions not many people are happy about this hybrid housing development with residents objecting and many looking on concerned about what it would mean for existing residents.
One resident we spoke with agreed that before any new housing development is built, planning needs to look at current shop and road infrastructure, at this time Partington will not cope with as little as another 1000 people in the area nevermind the projected 3000 people.
We have been on this from day 1 and will continue to keep everyone updated on what happens.
