17-year-old boy charged after knifing a man in Old Trafford

A 17-year-old boy has been charged after a man entered a coffee shop in Old Trafford with stab wounds.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent.

He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today, Monday 17 December 2018.

Shortly after 6.15pm on Saturday 15 December 2018, police were called after a 35-year-old man attended Costa Coffee on White City Retail Park with stab wounds.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
