BBC weather presenter Dianne Oxberry aged 51 has died after a short illness.

The presenter who lived in Sale studied meteorology at the Met Office in Berkshire and became a presenter for BBC North West in 1995.
Dianne was born in Sunderland on November 28th 1967 and lived with her husband Ian Hindle and there two children.
Living in the Sale area she was seen from time to time at the troubled Brooklands Co-operative Foodstore, and at Tesco on Manor Avenue, she walked her dog on Selsey fields and sometimes on Walton Park.
Dianne died from cancer at the Christie hospital on Jan 10th.
Her BBC North West Tonight colleagues are completely heartbroken about her death and it has come as a shock to all here at News4Trafford where we send our condolences to the family and her friends at this difficult time.
