The 747-400 with registration G-BYGC will have the old BOAC livery from its past which will delight aircraft fans around the world.

BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) livery was first seen in 1984 and was on aircraft until 1974.

The 747 will arrive at Heathrow Airport on February 18th, it also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the 747 a day or so earlier.

If the day is clear, it might be possible for people in Trafford to see it come over, you will need a good zoom on your camera if you want to keep and share the special moment.

We will track the aircraft and take some photos and share them with all our readers if the weather is good.
