Partington Social Club to be demolished to make way for a block of flats

Partington Social Club on Warburton Lane is to be demolished and a block of flats could be built if approved by Trafford Planning.

Proposals are for a block of 24 apartments to be built once the social club has been demolished.

We read that once built the flats will belong to a housing group, possibly THT or Your Housing Group.

With the flats being social housing, the car park will be retained and some nice landscaping to be part of the development we can see this passing.

What happens to the war memorial though could be a little tricky unless something can be done to build around it.

The block of flats is expected to be approved.
