Playing for pride as Trafford MV aim to end the season with a win

Trafford MV close off their 2018/19 ADM League campaign away at Aldwinians at the weekend.

MV would consider they have under achieved this season and will be aiming to play for  pride.

With both teams having nothing to play for, both being safe from relegation fears and both being well off the pace on contending for higher places it will be a case of who picks up the individual honours in this final league match.

Having had no games for 2 weeks both teams should be well rested and have recovered from minor knocks and injuries. MV coach Ricky Phillips will be looking for a performance to justify the efforts he has put in and captain Andy Quigley will be looking to his senior players to give him full backing and put in a strong game after a series of lack-lustre performance in the back half of the season.

There is much room for improvement in MV’s game and the club will need to dig deep and improve markedly before they go into their cup final appearance against  likely League winners Widnes in May.
