The Partington shopping centre extension has been approved by planners at Trafford Council.
The new building will have within it a restaurant/cafe and a take away.
With all these huge housing developments due to be built-in and around Partington within the next couple of years, more of these buildings will need to be built to cope with demand.
Throughout the proposal it seemed only the owner of the chip shop objected to the new development that will run side by side.
It does seem a little odd having two take aways so close, and another only yards away behind them next to the garage.
The cafe already in business at the shopping centre will the new restaurant/cafe cause problems for them? we hope it means healthy competition and expect both to work very well.
The new building will have a gap between it and the main shopping centre so people can cut through to the garage and out towards Moss Lane.
Now the application has been approved building on this new facility could begin at any time.
