Women saved after her car ends up in the water at Sale Water Park

Police were called at around 9.15pm to reports that a vehicle was in the water at Sale Water Park.

A woman was safely recovered from the water and has since been detained under the mental health act.

The car was in a good condition from images seen with one winow open, we cannot say why the woman ended up in the water, although a suicide attempt cannot be ruled out.
