Police were called to George Richards Way to reports of a disturbance.

A man was riding his scooter along Manchester Road on June 24th at around midday when he was approached by two masked men on a motorbike. They threatened him with a knife.
The victim managed to escape on his bike and went into a local Asda at Broadheath where the staff alerted police.
The man was not injured and nothing was stolen.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
