California was hit by several huge earthquakes during the morning (Local Time) on July 4th.
The epicentre was 12km SW of Searles Valley with a magnitude of 6.4, USGS is saying shortly after another 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred 10KM ENE of Ridgecrest.
Several other smaller quakes have shown up and a couple larger 4.1 and 4.6 magnitude earthquakes have hit California.
We have read also the shockwaves have also been felt at the supervolcano ‘Yellowstone’
None of the quakes today was anywhere near the San Andreas fault line.
Even earlier during the day, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Canada.
