The results were shocking, 129 babies under 1-years-old managed somehow to be part of the statistics, those in the 35 to 44 age group was highest at 3,094.

Hepititis-C is simply inflammation of the liver, and anyone can get the blood born virus, the easiest way to contract the virus is through use of blood supplies, then using drug needles and even your hairdresser could help give you Hepititis-C through being lazy and not cleansing the scissors and other tools of the job.

Your hairdresser will not be aware of microscopic particles of blood left on his or her scissors, so it is important your hairdresser cleans all equipment after every hair cut.

Many people do not have any symptoms years after getting the virus, it is known as the ‘Silent virus’ if you go on to get chronic hepititis it could go either way for you, in some people there is no damage to the liver and symptoms could by minimal, however some people could end up dead from it!
